Here I am in Denver! Woohoo! And it was such a good day all around. Work was good, I got out of there in plenty of time to get home, grab my luggage and make my plane. No problems. The ultimate highlight was being with Mary again. It was like we had never been apart. No awkwardness, no uncomfortable silences as we remembered what it was like to be around each other again. We just slipped right back into our friendship like an old glove. Not that we ever slipped out of it but when you haven't seen someone in almost 2 years, things changed. Well, none of the important stuff changed and everything is great. Other high points of my day, seeing a tumbleweed tumble across the runway at Denver. The ladies restroom in the airport had a tornado shelter sign on it. Walking down the escalator at the airport made me winded. I got a Jeep Commander for my rental car-this thing is awesome! Like a Hummer but it's a Jeep. And the glorious golden sunset behind the amazing Rocky Mountains. Hell, yes. Good day!
